SMUD’s Home Performance Program has kicked off with many incentives for Homeowners in their service area. Right now, if you make energy improvements to your home there are up to $5,000.00 in rebates available.

Here is a quote from SMUD’s literature: “Depending on the measures you choose to do under the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program you can achieve 20-50% annual energy savings and your rebate will range from $2,000.00 to $5,000.00

You must acheive a minimum of 20% energy savings to qualify for the rebate. The more improvements you do to your home, the higher the energy savings and the greater your rebate. You may also qualify for up to $1,500.00 in federal tax credits.”
